A collection of scents inspired by each chapter of Erin's book Heirloom Rooms: Soulful Stories of Home

"Our guest rooms change as our families do. They are the most flexible members of the house. Ours isn’t a guest room now; it belongs to Helen and Mae and their wild imaginations. It is where they can be anything, ballerinas, trapeze girls, musicians. Every once in a while, they will pause their performances for a moment to let their biggest fans sneak a hug and take in the smell of honey-crisp apples and sweet milk and nothing breath. Who they are right now, somewhere between baby and little girl, is imprinted in my memory forever." - Erin

Candle Care

Avoid Tunneling

Allow the pool of melted wax to reach all the way to the edge of your candle vessel every time you light it, and keep it lit until the entire top of the candle is liquid wax. Your candle won't tunnel and will last longer!

Trim the Wick

Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. A wick that is too long will cause smoke and produce soot. A short wick does a great job at creating the pool of melted wax, where the fragrance comes from.

Other Tips

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop burning candle when 3/8 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
